Hello everyone!

We’re Amelia and Madeline and we will be traveling to Costa Rica in the summer of 2023 to volunteer with the NATUWA Wildlife Sanctuary! NATUWA Wildlife Sanctuary provides refuge, veterinary care and rehabilitation for wildlife that have been affected by human interaction. We will be helping the NATUWA Wildlife Sanctuary veterinary team by triaging new patients, treating ongoing patients, and participating in daily rounds. We are looking forward to collaborating with veterinary colleagues abroad while caring for animals in need. As well as participating in spreading awareness on the importance of wildlife protection and conservation, we also can’t wait to dive headfirst into Costa Rican culture!
