The Paw Protectors are excited to have the oppawtunity to work directly with local veterinary professionals in Peru and Colombia this summer!  We will be spending 2 weeks tackling animal healthcare challenges in both a wildlife rescue center and local communities. These future veterinarians are ready to unleash their skills and passion to pawsitively impact the lives of the furry, feathery, leathery and scaly in South America.  Our goals are to immerse ourselves in these diverse cultures, fur-thering our cultural competence, paw-fecting our veterinary skills and leave a lasting paw-print on both local human and animal populations.  Hold on to your leashes because this purr-fect summer is going to be full of laughter, camaraderie and animal-loving escapades!
