The Roaming Roomies are excited to be travelling to Tanzania for an unforgettable experience this summer! We’ll be spending two weeks just outside of Mount Kilimanjaro National Park with Kilimanjaro Animal C.R.E.W. at a spay and neuter camp, followed by two weeks in Zanzibar working with the Zanzibar Veterinary Clinic and Zanzibar Animals Affection Society (ZAASO). Throughout our experience we hope to help control the stray cat and dog populations through spays and castrations, along with helping give vaccinations and health checks, and providing medical care to sick and injured animals. We can’t wait to help contribute to animal welfare in these communities while gaining hands-on experience in the international veterinary field!
